Abstract

This research article investigates the effectiveness of collaborative learning in teaching and learning foreign languages and students’ emotions that occur in SLA. Teams that are working collaboratively could attain high level thinking skills and keep the information for longer period comparing to students who prefer working individually. Working collaboratively leads students to build trust and promote open communication, maintain flexible norms in groups and consider self-esteem.
